WHO WE ARE
Next Steps Australia Limited was established in 2016 after our founding Chairperson, Bernadette Blair, recognised a need for basic manchester items to be provided to women and children fleeing domestic violence and seeking alternative accommodation.
About Next Steps Australia helping survivors of domestic/family violence

We are a company limited by guarantee and a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC). Next Steps Australia Limited is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient and donations to Next Steps Australia Limited are tax deductible.

Next Steps Australia is wholly funded by the generosity of our donors, including individuals, corporations, philanthropic trusts and grants. The members of Next Steps Australia’s Board and Support Team donate their time on a voluntary basis. No board member receives any financial remuneration.

FUNDING
Next Steps Australia receive no government funding and rely solely on donations to support our work in helping families affected by domestic violence in Australia.
The campaign has been very successful so far, with many generous Australians donating towards the cause.
We plan to raise $5,000,000 over 5 years to ensure that we can support as many mums and children affected by domestic violence as possible.
